Growing up in Durango, Paradise Valley-Arizona and Monte Vista, Tom can not only relate to the many transitions involved in a move but grew to love the beauty of nature & outdoor adventures -hunting, camping, boating & motorcycling. Tom volunteered as an EMT and firefighter with the La Junta Fire Department in the early 1990's; and was a high school football official for CFOA/CHSAA as well as the local area director.

Linda, born and raised in La Junta, spent five years in Ft. Collins, before she and her husband, Tom, had the opportunity to move back to the Arkansas Valley. In 1989, they began selling real estate with her father and took over the family business in 1993. She and Tom are the parents of two sons, Kalvin (daughter-in-law, Leah) and Keith and grandparents of two grandsons - Willem & Remy.

Keith had the opportunity for early exposure to real estate as he and his brother did repo & rental clean-ups for the family owned business which was started by his grandfather, Norm Murphy.
